Melanie Strand-Glatczak, CSAC, LPC, CS-IT is a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her Masters in Integrated Behavioral Health and a Certificate of Addiction Studies from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Strand-Glatczak’s therapeutic approach is integrative with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Her clinical experience is in the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma/PTSD, depression, and substance abuse disorders. Ms. Stran-Glatczak’s specialty is in the treatment and study of trauma ad substance use disorders.
Ms. Strand-Glatczak works with individuals and groups to establish a plan to help with their struggle with addiction and/or trauma. She sees individuals that range in age from 13 years of age until late adulthood.
She has received formal training from the Center of the Treatment and Study of Trauma and Anxiety in Philadelphia, PA and is certified in Pro-Longed Exposure Therapy. Ms. Strand-Glatczak has also been trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) from The Midwest Center for EMDR Training and Therapy. Being trained in two evidence based treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder allows her the capacity to determine which is the best fit for the client.
